LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE:
The Woo Woo World of Crystals, or Is It?
When some people hold a crystal, all they see is a rock with geometric patterns. Others squeeze a crystal and somehow feel the energy emitted by it. How is this possible?
Dr. Bunmi Aboaba is a doctor of dentistry and the CEO and Founder of Crystal & Rox, an interior design service that combines science, spirituality, and function to create stunning crystal grid designs for homes.
Most people wouldn’t think of a scientifically-minded individual being a leader in the crystal community, but that’s exactly what Bunmi has become.
Read on to discover some of her insight about the power of crystals, why crystals aren’t woo woo at all, and what she does with crystals in her interior design to help others.
Dr. Bunmi Aboaba’s Path to Crystals
Most people wouldn’t assume that a doctor of dentistry would believe in the woo woo world of crystals. However, Bunmi admits it was her scientific mind that convinced her that crystals are important in healing.
Bunmi was encouraged by a friend of hers to see a shaman after several stints of rehab that left her feeling hopeless about her treatment for addiction. While she felt some hesitation about seeing a natural healer, she eventually went as other therapies were not 100% effective.
After three to four sessions, her experience proved to her that the crystals the medicine man used were affecting her overall mental well-being. As life through her curveballs, she noticed she could handle them without feeling overwhelmed.
So she did what any scientist would do. She researched.
Eventually, it was a quote from Albert Einstein that would ultimately confirm what she was observing in her experience using crystals.
“Everything is energy, and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”
- Albert Einstein
Why the Woo Woo World of Crystals Isn’t Woo Woo at All
As Dr. Bunmi Aboaba continued to research and use crystals, she found that crystals have a very scientific structure. The more she studied, the more she realized that crystals are very stable energies that aren’t just used to wear around our necks.
Because of the molecular structure of crystals, they are very stable energies used for many scientific purposes. Due to a crystal’s molecular and geometric patterns, they emit a steady frequency that cannot be changed.
The more she looked, the more she saw crystals were all around us. They were in our smartphones. They were in Silicon Valley to harness the energy of microchips. They were in watches.
It seemed that science had known the power of crystals for a very long time and used their steady vibrational frequencies and energy to their advantage.
She then understood that people have invisible electromagnetic fields, and because of that, our bodies respond to different frequencies, just like when we use crystals.
Using Crystals in Interior Decorating
It wasn’t long before Dr. Aboaba realized that if a crystal’s steady frequencies could influence people, why couldn’t spaces using crystals do the same thing. That was the idea that launched her business Crystal & Rox.
Today, she helps people worldwide add crystals into their architectural design by infusing crystal grids into her interior design. These grids are tailored for the individual based on their personal needs, tastes, and intentions. She incorporates style, function, and crystals to enhance the space.
Are You Convinced?
Are crystals part of the woo woo world, or is there more to it? I guess that’s up to you to decide. If you’re convinced and looking for a way to add crystals into your home or office’s design, contact Dr. Bunmi Aboaba for a free consultation.
